How can we help you?

Hey there! I’m Eve, the founder and head organiser here at Ducks in a Row. Our team and I help Melbourne/Naarm women get their ducks in a row by creating functional homes with simple systems anyone can follow.

Our services include decluttering, organising, moving house assistance, shopping service and styling service.

Whether you wish to declutter and organise your existing home or planning to move house, our in-home decluttering & organising services combine the Organising D.R.E.S.S Code© with your personal needs to create a beautiful & functional space.

Our Services

Organising & Decluttering

An initial consultation followed by in-home decluttering & organising using my Organising D.R.E.S.S Code Formula©.

The Organising D.R.E.S.S Code© is simple:

  • DECIDE. The ‘no brainer’ first step of selecting which area of your home will be tackled first!
  • REMOVE. Everything comes out of the space, leaving a blank canvas.
  • EVALUATE. Time to place like-items together into categories (….and subcategories) and decide what will be kept, sold, repaired, stored, donated and thrown away.
  • SYSTEMS. With what remains, it’s time to plan out which items will go into which sections, measure all existing storage, drawers etc and research any products you may need.
  • STYLE. This is the fun part! Now everything goes back into the space, is styled and is labelled.

 

Moving House

An initial consultation followed by in-home pre move decluttering and/or post-move unpacking, organising & styling.

Our Sessions

The first step is to complete our Booking Form where you share the details of your decluttering & organising needs. From there we decide on the time required and schedule your first appointment. Once your appointment is confirmed we get to work creating a plan for our visit.

When it’s time for your first appointment, we will discuss what’s working for you, what’s not working, and how you plan to use the space going forward. We will get to work immediately and maximise every minute of the session. It is up to you how involved you are in the session. You can relax and let us do all the heavy lifting or join us throughout the process.

After your session, we will send you a recap with before and after photos, along with a list of additional things you can or should do to further improve the space. If you booked multiple sessions, you’ll also receive a plan for the next session.

We teach real organisation for real women. Your home doesn’t have to be Pinterest-Perfect, because the photos on Pinterest aren’t real-life. You live in your home, so let’s make it work for you. Not just for a pretty picture.

Shopping Service

If you’re planning to add new products to your space but not sure where to start, we can take care of that for you. Our Shopping Service takes into consideration your personal style & budget to develop a shopping list of items for your space. Once approved, we complete all the shopping prior to our session and deliver the items to your home ready to organise and style your home.
